2024 Recipients of the IPSA New Investigator Award

Congratulations to the 2024 recipients of the IPSA New Investigator Award! This award recognizes excellent  work by new investigators in pediatric sleep. New investigators selected for oral presentation will present their research during the special New Investigator Award session taking place at 1:20pm on Saturday in the Level 2 Auditorium.

2024 Recipients of the Christian Guilleminualt Young Investigator Award


Congratulations to the 2024 recipients of the Christian Guilleminault Young Investigator Award! Named in n honor of Christian Guilleminault (CG), a sleep pioneer, the CG Young Investigator Award recognizes excellence among young investigators in sleep and supports their travel to present at scientific meetings. 


Two young investigators at IPSA 2024 were selected to receive the CG Award and present their oral abstracts during the special New Investigator Award session taking place at 1:20pm on Saturday in the Level 2 Auditorium.

New Investigator Award Opportunities

Are you a new investigator? There are two award opportunities available to IPSA 2024 Glasgow oral or poster abstract presenters:

1. IPSA New Investigator Award: This award recognizes new investigators in pediatric sleep. Oral abstract award winners receive a grant of up to $1,000 to support their travel to present at IPSA 2024 Glasgow and free registration to the congress. Poster abstract recipient winners will receive an award of $500. To apply please complete the application by January 15, 2024.

2. Christian Guilleminault Young Investigator Award: The CG Young Investigator Award encourages young investigators in the field of sleep and awards a travel grant of up to $1,000 to each recipient per year.  Complete the application posted on the World Sleep Society website: https://worldsleepsociety.org/awards/christian-guilleminault-young-investigator-endowment-fund/


Requirements

All applicants must be 35 years old or younger OR must have completed their MD or PhD within the last 5 years. Current MD or PhD students that meet the age requirements are eligible to apply. 

Both award applications require an abstract to be submitted through the IPSA congress website: https://www.pedsleep.org/abstracts. Symposium presentations are not eligible for the award.
